How does TLT work?

The experiences, relationships, and events of the past have helped shaped us as who we are today. And while there's nothing wrong with carrying a little baggage with us, there are certain types of baggage that are good to let go. For example, the guilt we feel about past mistakes is something we can let go of -- stop dwelling on negative experiences and instead, focus on lessons learned.

And we can let go of the expectations we have placed on ourselves and others.

By letting go of this excess baggage, we can lighten our load and make room for more positive experiences and creative energy in our lives. The Time Line Therapy® process allows you to move past these limiting beliefs and personal constrictions on your life.

NLP is a therapy that uses positive thoughts and body language to improve anxiety by changing the way we think and behave.

The ‘NLP communication model’ is the foundational model for how we as human beings create our ‘perception’ of reality. It helps us discover how we distort and generalise information. We take in huge amounts of information every second, so this filtering process is absolutely essential, and is carried out based on our own filters, such as decisions, values, memories, beliefs, and senses.

We all have unique maps of the world around us and our perceptions of reality are only ever perceptions, not reality itself.

Some people have to “see” certain relationships between things, where others have to have it explained or so they can “hear it”. Still others have to “get a grasp or a feeling” for the relationships. This is the essence of the NLP Communication Model.

The filters and style of filtering that you use in any given state makes a difference between why you respond one way and someone else responds another way.

After this ‘filtering process’ you end up with your personally encoded Internal Representation of the event/object in the world.  It is your personal perception of the world, built out of visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory, gustatory information and language.
