Infrared saunas aren't just a wellness trend. After years of using one with clients and on myself, here's what actually happens to your body and why it works.

Real self-care isn't selfish. It's the foundation that makes everything else in your life possible.

To be successful at weight loss and the prevention of weight gain, it is vital that you find ways to manage stress. Otherwise, you leave yourself open to some of the negative effects of stress. In my case, long-term stress led to a lowered immune system, which in turn made me susceptible to everything, including chronic fatigue syndrome.

Every year, so many of us slide into December at full speed. Work deadlines, end-of-year wrap-ups, family expectations, and social events stack up quickly. Before you even realise what's happening, you're racing around like a very busy little creature with its tail on fire, and wondering why your nervous system feels fried.
One client recently told me she could barely remember her own holiday season last year because she was moving so fast. She felt like she was watching her life from the outside instead of actually living it. By January, she was numb and completely drained.
And she isn't alone.
This happens to so many people who care deeply about showing up for everyone else, but forget the one person who needs them most: themselves.
A few years ago, my health forced me to stop. Completely. It wasn't gentle, it wasn't convenient, and it certainly wasn't part of the plan. But in falling down, I learned how to stand back up, fully in my power, fully responsible for my energy, and deeply connected to what truly matters.
That journey became the foundation of my upcoming book, Back from the Brink. It's a story of healing, remembering, and reclaiming my Mojo, and it's packed with the lessons I wish I'd known earlier.
And here's the part I want for you: You don't need to hit rock bottom to reclaim your wellbeing.
You can choose a softer, more aligned way now.
Strategically Timed Metabolism-Boosting Meals
I began eating in a rhythm that supported my blood sugar and inflammation levels. No more spikes or crashes, just steadier energy and clearer thinking.
10-Minute Interval & Strength Workouts
Instead of long, draining cardio sessions, I focused on short, intentional bursts of movement. Ten minutes a day boosted my circulation, lymphatic flow, mood, and metabolism.
Daily Intention & Gratitude Practices
Beginning my day with purpose helped me anchor my mind and stay connected to my healing, even when life felt chaotic.
Gentle Daily Detox Rituals
Supportive, consistent practices like hydration and reducing toxic load helped my body feel safe and balanced, making natural weight release easier.
Micro Moments of Stillness
Thirty seconds of deep breathing can reset your entire nervous system.
The Two-Event Rule
One big outing and one small outing per weekend. The rest is sacred space for your energy.
Hydration & Summer Sanity
Drink more water than you think you need, seek the shade, and slow your pace.
A Joy Ritual You Refuse to Skip
A beach walk, a quiet coffee, a few minutes in the garden, something that brings you back to yourself and reminds you that life isn't meant to be rushed.
You deserve more than a festive blur. You deserve to feel grounded, energised, and connected, not just surviving the holidays but truly experiencing them.
Your calm is a choice. Your energy is sacred. Your Mojo matters.
Back from the Brink is coming soon, and I can't wait to share more of the tools, stories, and strategies that helped me reclaim my health, so you can do the same, without needing to fall as hard as I did.
